# Hiding an asset

> Hide an asset from every scanner page at once, or only for some pair kinds, with the switches in the asset header. Hidden assets are listed with the Only hidden filter.

Hiding on a scanner page removes one pair from that page, see [Hidden pairs](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/scanner/pages.md#hidden-pairs). Hiding an asset removes all its routes from every scanner page and from alerts that follow your pages.

The Hide menu of an asset: everywhere or per pair kind.

## Steps

1. Open **Tools › Assets** and pick the asset.
2. In the header click **Hide**.
3. Choose **Everywhere** to hide the asset on every scanner page, or tick **Only for these arbitrage kinds** and pick the kinds (`perp-perp`, `spot-perp`, `spot-spot`, `spot-margin`, `perp-margin`).

The asset shows the badge **Hidden** or **Hidden · N** (N kinds). In the scanner such an asset carries the tag `hidden` with the hint **Hidden everywhere — Settings → Assets**.

## Finding hidden assets

Turn on **Only hidden** above the list. The summary line counts assets hidden everywhere and hidden for some kinds. Switch **Hide** off in the header to show the asset again.
