> ## Agent Instructions
> Spreader is a web service that tracks arbitrage spreads between crypto exchanges. This documentation covers only what a user of the service sees and does.
> Page paths starting with /en/ are English. Translations live under /ru/ and /uk/ with the same file names.
> Screenshots are illustrations. Every screenshot is accompanied by text that states the same facts, so you do not need to see the image.

# Commands

> The Spreader bot answers in any Telegram chat: prices, spreads, funding, margin, loans and deposit or withdrawal status of an asset by ticker, name or contract address, with buttons and inline mode.

The shared Spreader bot is [@SpreaderApp](https://t.me/SpreaderApp), also reachable as @SpreaderTheBot. It works in private chats, in groups and inline and needs no account. The same bot delivers alerts, see [Channels](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/alerts/channels.md).

## Asking about an asset

`X` is a ticker (`BTC`, `$btc`, `btc/usdt`), an asset name, or a contract address. The base symbol an exchange uses also works (`1000SHIB` finds SHIB). When several assets match, the bot shows up to 8 buttons to pick from. In a private chat a bare `BTC` equals `/search BTC`.

| Command | Reply | Buttons |
| - | - | - |
| `/search X` | Asset card: name, symbol, class, average price, market cap and FDV, spot and perp exchange counts. | Spot · Perp · Funding · Spreads · Margin · Loans · Status · Site |
| `/spot X` | Spot prices by exchange: mid, deviation from the median, 24 h volume, quote freshness. | ← Info and the other tabs |
| `/perp X` | Perp prices by exchange with open interest. | |
| `/funding X` | Funding by exchange: rate, interval, APR, next payment. | |
| `/spreads X` | Top 5 directions of the asset: kind, long → short, In and Out net, APR, age, with a link to each spread page. | |
| `/margin X` | Exchanges that lend the coin on margin: hourly rate, APR, pool, maximum, leverage. | |
| `/loans X` | Loan products: term, APR, minimum and maximum. | |
| `/status X` | Deposits and withdrawals by exchange and network: ✓ open · ✗ closed, minimum, fee, confirmations. | |

The buttons under a card switch the same message between the screens. Only the person who posted the card can switch its tabs, anyone can press 🔄 to refresh, not more than once per 5 seconds.

## Other commands

| Command | Reply |
| - | - |
| `/help` | The list of commands. |
| `/ping` | System state: data feed, exchanges up, markets, pairs, freshness. |
| `/lang en`, `/lang ru`, `/lang uk` | Language of the chat. Without `/lang` the bot uses the language of your linked account, then your Telegram language, then English. |
| `/start <code>` | Links your Spreader account, the code comes from **Settings › Alerts**. |
| `/stop` | Unlinks the account. |

## In groups

Add the bot to a group. It reacts to commands only, `/spot BTC` or `/spot@SpreaderApp BTC`, and ignores other messages. Personal commands do not work in groups: **This command works in a private chat with the bot only.**

## Inline

Type `@SpreaderApp btc` in any chat. Up to 8 results appear, each is the asset card with the same buttons.

## Links from the bot

Links in the bot's replies open the spread or market page on the site. Telegram opens them in its in-app browser by default. To open them in your regular browser, change the Telegram setting: on iPhone **Settings › Data and Storage › Open Links in**, on Android **Settings › Chat Settings › In-App Browser** off. The bot cannot choose the browser for you.

## Limits

| Limit | Value |
| - | - |
| Commands per Telegram user | 20 per minute |
| Commands per group | 20 per minute |
| Inline queries per user | 30 per minute |
| Refresh of one card | once per 5 seconds |

Past a limit the bot answers once with **Too many requests. Try again in N s.** and stays silent until the window ends. The bot shows cards for one asset at a time and does not list all assets.
