> ## Agent Instructions
> Spreader is a web service that tracks arbitrage spreads between crypto exchanges. This documentation covers only what a user of the service sees and does.

# Market page

> The market page shows one market of one exchange: live price, funding and open interest, a chart with history, the order book, the spreads it takes part in, and an order terminal.

Every market has its own page at `/market?id=<exchange>:<type>:<NAME>`, see [Links](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/links/market.md). Open it from the **Market page** link on a spread page, from the Markets tab of an asset or an exchange, or from a leg in the scanner.

## What is shown

* **Header**: exchange, market type, symbol and the asset it is bound to with a link to the **Asset page**. `margin` in the address opens the spot market itself, a market page has no side of a trade.
* **Price** per market unit, as the exchange quotes it. For a contract with a multiplier the card says `N coins per unit` and shows the **Asset price** per coin next to it.
* **Chart** with the sets **Price** (mid price per market unit), **Funding** (per interval, as published), **OI**, **Volume** (24 h, rolling) and **Basis** (mark and index against mid). Window and bar controls are the same as on the [spread chart](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/spread/chart.md).
* **Order book** of this market in **Markets** source mode, see [Order books](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/spread/order-books.md).
* **Market card**: **Status**, **Pair** (base and quote), **Contract size**, **Multiplier**, **Margin** (`short on margin available` when the exchange lends the coin), **Listed** date, taker fee and funding interval.
* **Accumulated funding rate** for 1d, 3d, 7d and 30d from actual payments, with the realised APR.
* **Spreads with ‹symbol› on this market**: every direction in which this market is a leg, with In and Out, sorted by spread. **No spreads with this market right now** when there is none.

## Banners

| Banner | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **This market is no longer traded.** | The exchange stopped trading it. The chart keeps its history while it is stored. |
| **The values are frozen at the last update.** | The quote is stale. Do not act on the numbers. |
| **No such market** | The address does not match a market. The page lists the quote currencies the coin has on that exchange. |
| **Several markets match — pick one** | The address is ambiguous, the page lists the candidates with exact links. |

## Order terminal

Signed in users with a key for this exchange see the **Order** panel: **Market** or **Limit**, **Buy/Long** and **Sell/Short** (a single **Sell** for spot), price with **Bid** and **Ask** shortcuts, amount in USD or coins with a slider from 0 to 100 % of the maximum, **Reduce-Only** for perpetuals, leverage and margin mode. Below: the **Exchange position** with **Close**, the order log with **Cancel**, the balance and the instrument **Limits** (**Min order**, **Lot step**, **Price tick**, **Max leverage**). Position, balance and prices come from the exchange and refresh every 5 seconds.

The terminal is locked when the market is a leg of your open pair or of a running Auto: **Trade it from the spread page. Orders here would break the pair on the exchange.** See [Trading](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/trading/overview.md).
