> ## Agent Instructions
> Spreader is a web service that tracks arbitrage spreads between crypto exchanges. This documentation covers only what a user of the service sees and does.
> Page paths starting with /en/ are English. Translations live under /ru/ and /uk/ with the same file names.

# Filters

> Narrow the scanner by pair kind, exchanges, asset class, assets, spread, APR, break-even, volume, open interest, market cap, quote age and spread age.

Filters apply as you type. The row counter in the toolbar shows how many directions pass. Unsaved filter changes are kept in the browser until you **Save** the page or reset it.

## Pair kinds

![Chips All, perp-perp, spot-perp, spot-spot, spot-margin, perp-margin](https://mintcdn.com/develops-6bdfff15/0-2fZCEZBOlAqgr4/images/scanner/kinds-en-dark.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=0-2fZCEZBOlAqgr4\&q=85\&s=3509285ee7d3dbc1bb3fe9fb55a56356)

Kind chips in the toolbar.

Click a chip to show only that kind, click **All** to show every kind. The kinds are explained in [Reading a row](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/scanner/reading-a-row.md#kind).

## The filter panel

![Filter panel with exchange pickers, asset class and asset pickers, numeric ranges and three switches](https://mintcdn.com/develops-6bdfff15/0-2fZCEZBOlAqgr4/images/scanner/filters-panel-en-dark.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=0-2fZCEZBOlAqgr4\&q=85\&s=6000694a7f1a927d0da94a42becac75b)

The filter panel opened with the Filters button.

| Filter | What it limits |
| - | - |
| **Long on**, **Short on** | Exchanges allowed on the long leg and on the short leg. The two icons select all or clear the list. |
| **Asset class** | Crypto, stocks, ETF, commodities, FX or indexes. Tokenized stocks and other non crypto markets are listed under their own class. |
| **Assets** | Specific tickers or names. |
| **Spread** | Net entry spread range, in percent. |
| **Out net** | Net exit spread range. |
| **APR** | Yearly funding range. `our side` means the rate counted from your position, income positive. |
| **Break-even** | Maximum hours to pay back fees and spreads from funding. |
| **Vol 24h** | Minimum 24 hour volume in millions of USD on both legs. |
| **Open interest** | Minimum open interest in millions of USD. |
| **Mcap**, **FDV** | Market cap and fully diluted valuation range in millions of USD. |
| **Quote age** | Maximum age in seconds of the older leg quote. |
| **Spread age** | How long the net spread has stayed at or above a threshold. Pick the threshold in the dropdown or leave `auto`, which follows your Spread minimum. The range is in minutes and hours, for example `30m` to `1h`. |

Three switches at the bottom:

* **Delisting markets**: show directions where a market is being delisted. Hidden by default because their spreads are often misleading.
* **Empty borrow pools**: show margin directions where nothing is left to borrow. Hidden by default because the short cannot be opened.
* **Hide unknown borrow pools**: hide margin directions where the exchange does not report what is left to borrow.

## Buttons

* **Clear all** removes every filter, including the default ones. All kinds, exchanges and classes are back.
* **Reset to defaults** returns the page to no filters, all kinds, sort by spread, default columns and row height.
* **Reset to saved** discards unsaved changes and returns to the last saved state of this page.
* **Collapse** closes the panel. Active filters stay and are listed as chips next to the Filters button.
