# Positions

> Positions lists the pair positions you opened through Spreader, open and closed, with live PnL, entry spread, Out net now, fees and funding, plus running Auto jobs and orders from market pages.

Open **Tools › Positions** or go to `/tools/positions`. Guests see a lock. The count in the sidebar is the number of open positions. The scope segments have their own addresses: `/tools/positions` (All), `/open`, `/closed`, `/auto`, `/orders`.

## Columns

| Column | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Long, Short | The two markets. The row opens the spread page. |
| PnL | Realised plus unrealised, coloured. |
| **Size, \$**, **Size** | Position size in USD and in coins. |
| **Unrealised PnL**, **Realised PnL** | Split of the PnL. |
| Entry spread, Out net now | Net spread at entry and the net exit spread at current prices. |
| Fees, Funding | Paid fees and accumulated funding of the position. Funding is updated about once a minute and finalised at close. |
| Opened, Status | Time and `open`, `one leg` or `closed`. |

Rows refresh every 5 seconds. **No open positions. Open one from a spread page.** appears when the list is empty.

## Auto

The **Auto** scope lists every unfinished Auto run: **Side** (open or close), **Progress**, **Threshold**, **Now** (In or Out by the books), **Running for**, and the status note. Each row has **Pause**, **Resume** and **Stop**. **Pause all** stops every run at once. See [Auto](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/trading/auto.md).

## Orders

The **Orders** scope lists orders placed from market pages with **Cancel** for open ones. See [Market page](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/markets/overview.md#order-terminal).

Positions reflect orders placed through Spreader. If you sell or close on the exchange itself, the quantities follow the exchange and the position may show `legs differ` or `one leg`. See [Positions and closing](https://docs.spreader.sh/en/trading/positions.md).
