Protections

Protections are the checkboxes under Protection in the alert editor. Unticked protections are off. Defaults suit most cases: loosen them if you miss alerts, tighten them if you get noise.

Protection	Meaning	Range
Quotes of both legs no older than	Skip when a leg quote is older than this.	1 s to 60 s
Condition must hold for	The condition must stay true this long before the alert fires.	0 to 60 min
Pause between repeats	Minimum time between two firings of the same rule for the same coin or route.	0 to 24 h
Auto-pause after N firings per period	The rule pauses itself as `paused: storm` after N firings within the period. Resume restarts it.	N 1 to 1 000, period 1 min to 24 h
Skip markets with an unconfirmed asset binding	Ignore routes where a market’s link to the asset is marked probable, see Glossary.	on or off
Skip markets being delisted	Ignore routes where a market is being delisted.	on or off

A single market rule shows the protections as Quote no older than, Skip if the asset binding is unconfirmed and Skip if the market is being delisted.
